I've been coming here for 2 years now. The shop gives great basic haircuts (which is all I ever get), especially if you stick to choosing pictures on the wall. They're consistent, and my partner always loves how I look when I come home after getting a hair cut from here. If you're looking for a high end stylist, this probably isn't your place. But for a <$30 haircut in Palo Alto, it's hard to beat. Plus they're very friendly and accommodating of walk-ins.

I had a very disappointing experience here. The haircut was poor quality, and everything felt rushed. They clearly didn’t take their time, especially with the beard trim. The barber simply ran the trimmer over my beard for less than a minute and charged $35 for it. They didn’t properly clean up the edges, and I left with small stray hairs above my beard line because it wasn’t cut correctly. Terrible haircut. They will shave you like you're a sheep and make your head like a boiling egg. The outcome is nothing like what in the reference photo and they charge for $27 (only accept cash) for a single man's haircut.

Terrible experience. Please avoid the younger man on staff — he clearly doesn’t know how to cut hair or handle different hair types, and communication was almost impossible. The result was nothing like what I asked for. Would not recommend.
