We bought a camper at camping world a couple of weeks ago. It is a 2021. We have it sitting in our driveway right now and we have the slide out. When we went in the camper to get some of the paperwork that we had stored under the couch, we discovered that everything was soaking wet. It had rained. Purchased a Fifth Wheel from this location. Dealt with Jane Buckley in Sales. She was very helpful and patient in our decision making. We decided to add things to the machine and our vehicle and dealt with Jennifer Terrell in Parts. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting us what we needed. We needed some warranty work also done on the machine and between Sales, Service & Parts we got everything done at the same time. When making appointment for service we dealt with Jim Stremkowksi. So far finally got a call back from guy about a couple of issues. Pray they handle things correctly.. bad customer service etc does not go over well with companies. When we bought our camper they were seedy. There were a few issues, they went far and above to fix things and make us happy. I pray it stays the same at all times with us..
We purchased our Heartland Big Horn two weeks ago and I wrote a positive review praising the sales team, service team and finance team. T.O. was amazing at delivering and helping us to connect (which they don’t normally do) but it didn’t take long to discover some issues. We contacted Kenneth in service and explained what was happening. Within 24 hours he had contacted his superiors (our issues were unique) and got back to us. Talking to the parts department is very frustrating. There is never enough people to answer the phone. If you need to buy a new rv, they are all over you, but after that, forget about it. I have bought 2 rvs there in the last 2 years and will never buy a third because parts/service is horrible.
2 years ago this month bought a brand new fifth wheel had it 7 days the wheel came off did $8,000 damage Camping World had my RV 8 months I had to get an attorney to get it back. 15 days ago I had a blowout damage the trailer took it back to Camping World now I still don't have an estimate even 15 days after they've had it looks like I'm going to have to get an attorney again
If I could give a negative number I would. I went to purchase a travel trailer and the service was awful! The sales person was extrely disrespectful and condescending. He made several comments about me being female and even remarked that I “didn’t understand the numbers”. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this location!
When you buy a camper from the Asheville Camping World they talk about one of the perks is you can use their dump station for free. When you use it you find out their dump station is always filthy. Please see picture. But to be fair I have used the dump station at multiple Camping Worlds since and they are all filthy and sometimes hard to get to so I guess they are just living up to their company standards!!!!!
