This is a great local business, and I definitely I recommend them. Over the years, my husband has purchased a couple of Christmas presents from Campbell's, and I love them! He got a unique, hammered copper bangle and a white crystal pendant with a dark green line of tourmaline - they are amazing. I recommend Campbell’s Jeweler to anyone seeking jewelry alterations. My fiancé and I brought in an heirloom engagement ring from 1903 that needed serious resizing (size 10 to 4.5) and alterations in the setting (lowering the diamond). The ring came out perfect and they did it in a few hours! We brought the ring in right after Christmas and because they were going to close until after New Years, they hurried the entire process (including diamond appraisal) so that we wouldn’t have to wait for over a week for the ring. I love family owned businesses, but this one in particular. I think they must have been in business at least as long as I have lived in Mount Pleasant, well over 30 years. When you go into a family business and you know you are going to talk with the owner/jeweler, you are so much more comfortable. My wife and I have shopped there, gotten appraisals there, had jewelry remade there, and (of course) had watch batteries replaced.
