I i treasured my friendship with Jesse and his uncanny ability to remember everything about all of us ! I went in right before Christmas and he came out of his office to give me a hug and say " I know this will be a hard Christmas for you since your Mother just died last April " .....we BOTH cried ! How did he remember all of the ups and downs of life of so many people ???? Because he was Jesse ....I will miss him terribly . With love to all his family and those who worked beside him everyday . xoxox Katy

My house and garden are filled with Jesse. He taught me to care for orchids and begonias, and every time I reached an important moment in my life, I shared it by visiting the greenhouse. My heart is broken and so sad. We have lost the sweetest soul in Charlotte.
Jesse was always so warm and welcoming. And witty! He loved to joke with me and he always remembered my name and the names of my children. I am shocked and saddened. We have lost one of our brightest lights in Dilworth.
I just saw this on the news and am in shock! I loved Jesse. He always treated me like family. We loved to talk about our convertibles and he loved to kid with me about how I cared for my orchids. My thoughts and prayers are with family and staff.
I loved seeing Jesse's smiling face! I am so sad that something like this has happened to such a sweet generous man! He will be truly missed! My heart goes out to his Greenhouse family as well as his relatives. Jesse has touched my life as well as so many others!
Jesse loved people, plants, animals and his beloved Greenhouses. I'm still in shock and disbelief over his passing. May he rest in peace. He will be sorely missed by everyone who ever knew him and by the entire Charlotte community for which he was so much a part and such a staple in for so many decades. Sending prayers and love. May your journey be as beautiful as your spirit, Jesse.
