A Upper Providence/Media staple....been enjoying the Boat house for 45 years. One of the last "old" Media Restaurants. Tonight....not so much. I hope it was just a bad night for the cook and servers.
Crab bisque was amazing. Best Reubens in town . Kieth, our server, was polite and efficient and the atmosphere was nice
We've been going to the Boat House for more than 40 Years but we're 60 something young! I love the Crab Cakes and Jeannie's Chili is the absolute best! The atmosphere and intimacy are what brings us back. Never felt rushed and ALWAYS feel special!
Friendly and welcoming staff. I have lived so close for over 30 years and never stopped in until last night and all I can say is that I will be back for more than just drinks next time.
My husband and I just had dinner there. The crab cakes were delicious, as were the jumbo fried shrimp. Our server, Keith, was amazing and attentive. Jan, the manager, was gracious and welcoming. It is a friendly, local, family place that doesn't break the bank and makes you feel at home. The few minor suggestions I had were well received by Jan. We will definitely be back. Thanks, everyone.
The cup we were served soda in was dirty. The food was bland. The waitress had no personality whatever. The small basket of chips and salsa was overpriced.
Was there as part of a fundraiser for myself . Was an awesome experience. Very accommodating. Would totally rev omens it to everyone.
