Best Senior Assisted Living in an Elderly Board &Care Home – My brother and sister and I found this place after mom was put in a skilled nursing home to recover from her fall. Mom said she never wanted to go in a nursing home, but she can't take care of herself any more and we all have jobs and families of our own. Cozy San Jose Assisted Living / Elderly Board and Care Home – I like this place because they have a real family atmosphere. Mom has slowed down, and they are on San Jose, CA assisted living place that gives elders extra TLC and we appreciate that. The owners bring a small dog over occasionally and Mom likes to give the dog people food. The caregivers make real tasty food (one staff likes to watch the food channel for new recipes).
