He is an excellent surgeon. He saved my life more than once.
My husband was sent to Dr. Campbell for lower abdominal pain. He was very abrupt with him. Told him he had a pulled muscle and left him on the table to get up without help. My husband ended up in the Hospital in Tyler, Texas a few weeks later.
Dr. Campbell did surgery on our young son many years ago to repair a perforated intestine. Three weeks later the pain began again. Dr. Campbell was unresponsive and blamed the pain on gas. It took 7 years to find a doctor who identified the problem: the way Dr. Campbell had reconnected the small intestine after the section was inadequate and caused a partial obstruction that occurred periodically as food caught in the "pocket". My son experienced 7 years of chronic pain.
