It was so much fun. I met a lot of people. They were really nice. It was my first year and they made me feel at home. They will make you feel like family. Everyone cares for each other. The classes are really amazing. I would highly recommend it!
I have been to multiple camps over the last few years and Sumatanga was by far the best one I have been too. Gene and his staff went above and beyond in every aspect of the camp experience. The summer staff was incredible. When we left it felt like I was leaving family behind. The maintenance staff was on top of any issue that may arise most of the time before I could even report it. I was concerned coming to camp with all the negative comments about Gene. Gene went above and beyond to make camp great for us. The summer staff is by far the best camp staff I have ever worked with. They are an absolute blessing! We had multiple salvations and rededication This staff was a part of helping these kids give their lives to Jesus. It blessed my heart to see them love on our churches and have them become a part of our families.
