Since 1959, Camp Ondessonk's summer camp programs have provided an experience that encourages campers to have fun, nurture spiritually, make friends, grow in self-confidence and promote important traditional values. I camped here every year with my friends from 5th grade through 9th. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from Ondessonk. It's such a unique place! I learned how to horseback ride, canoe, row boat, & shoot archery all from coming here. I'm definitely sending my daughter here when she's old enough. Heep-wa!!!
This Camp is like no other. You have to personally visit this place to truly appreciate and enjoy what this Camp and place has to offer. It's is GOD'S Creation of such magnificent beauty and wonder. So many life changing journeys, memories that will last you a lifetime.
My daughter has grown so much as a person and a member of a community since going to Ondessonk. I am in awe of her new found capacity for determination and ingenuity as well as compassion.
