Facilities,staff and location make this such great get away. Very relaxing and such a beautiful landscape that offers so much.
Went there in '96 '97 and' 98 with my sister. Lalande chabnel and lalamont. Still remember the song our group made up for the skits at night. Good times good people
As a now retired Boy Scout exec and church camp director I have been involved in many different wonderful camps. Camp O has to be at the top of the list! In terms of spirit, staff, setting, facilities, natural environment it can't be beat.
I was the lead nurse for the health center at camp three summers and three falls for Ladies Retreat...it is located in the middle of the Shawnee offering everything from waterfalls to beautiful trails for hiking or on horseback.....
I was a previous camper back in the '60's and just returned from my 11th mother daughter weekend. This year we introduced my 8 year old niece to the wonders of Camp O. She had a blast hiking to Pakentuck, archery, painting, canoing and a pony ride. She laughed and giggled through the campfire skits and is sure to be an attendee next summer at minicamp. Thanks to all the counselors who shared their talents and love of camp. We truly ❤️️ Camp Ondessonk. Colleen Schaab
