WONT BE BACK!!!!! How do you call it a resort without included pool access anymore! Campground is nice but they have taken away passes for the water park for your group with your campsite. You get 1 and have to pay $40 per person or buy season passes if you want to go multiple days. For the price you pay for the sites there should be pool access. We visited right before Memorial Day weekend- apparently the activities are only open on the weekend- so we mostly hung around our campsite. The whole Margaritaville Lake Lanier vibe is to just play on the water and chill. We finally found the kayak and paddle board rental on the last day- you have to walk past the restaurant and go to it in person, there's no phone number (at least that we found). It was relaxing- probably won't go back in the down season.

Disappointed. Stayed May 3rd through the 7th, 2026 and was disappointed by the lack of resort functions and amenities that were open in spite of the fact that they charged a resort fee on top of your site rental. It was 78 degrees and sunny but the pools were all closed, there was no hot tub, clubhouse or workout facility. The sites were tight with the perfect view of Cousin Eddies RV.
