Dr camp performed a scoliosis surgery on my son 8 years ago since then my son had always been in pain and every time we complained to him his response was no he shouldn’t have this much pain.. I was a patient of Dr Camp 25 years ago and the surgery he preformed for my scoliosis changed my life for the better. I am currently married and have three children and live a normal and happy life. I have spoken to Dr Camp in over 20 years but I want him to know I have always been thankful to him.
Dr. camp was unprofessional and derogatory when referring to a juvenile patient that was referred to his office. He made assumptions about this patient before knowing the entire story.
Dr. Camp performed surgery on my daughter to correct scoliosis. All through the process, from the initial diagnosis to hospital discharge, he was prompt, courteous, and willing to answer any and all questions. Never once did we feel rushed or that our questions were too simple. He explained everything, suggested we get a second opinion, and took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable. He wasn't quick to suggest surgery, first trying bracing and using surgery only as a last resort. He
He has a good bed side manner and listens to you, he also explains things so that you can understand them. He doesn't recommend unnecessary surgeries or procedures.
He spoke to me like I was low class, maybe because I am on medicaid. I wish that I would have been spoken to with respect, especially that Im in college getting a B.A Degree sorry Im poor at the time, but I won't be forever. You should speak to your patience with a respectful tone of voice, not make them feel intimidated or may be your just not the right Doctor for my family.
Dr. Camp is such a great doctor! I was diagnosed with scoliosis. The curvature was around 80 degrees. He recommend surgery, which I already knew I was going to need it. I love the way my back looks now. I'm very lucky I found such an amazing doctor!
After several failed and excruciatingly painful surgery attempts, I finally made the right decision to go to another doctor.
