I almost didn't come here due to the rating and reviews... maybe I just came on an off day, but my fam and I had a nice dinner here. Food was priced fine, we were seated immediately (630 on a Friday, fam of 4). May was our server and she was awesome. Food was pretty solid as well (I had prime rib). My wife had pasta which she seemed to like. Our kids were hopped up on sugar so who knows. Brace yourself for a letdown. We swung by a fast food place for the kids before rolling up here, and their full meals combined—drinks included—cost less than my so-called Chicken Caesar "salad." Judging by the glossy photos on Maps and the eye-watering prices, I expected more than a sad 3-4oz sprinkle of chicken jerky scattered across what felt like half a lettuce patch. Best gluten free fried chicken I've ever had. You could tell it was hand battered. Not greasy at all. Seasoned perfectly. Traverse City, Michigan
We were seated at Camp Critter Bar & Grill and waited about a half hour. No server even came to give us water or to try to take our order. We got up and left, and no one batted an eye. While glad to avoid the incredibly high prices, this was entirely disrespectful, unprofessional, and inhospitable. Especially when there are kids involved, which a place like Great Wolf Lodge is literally meant to accommodate, such an experience is unacceptable. Plan to eat outside the resort.
We came in right when they opened at 5 and service was super fast since we were the first ones there. I had the Chili Lime Chicken Bowl and it was pretty good. I'd have preferred more corn and black beans in the mixture, but it was still good.
Camp Critter Bar & Grill has a 3.3 star rating with 139 reviews.
Camp Critter Bar & Grill is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
