Great place to eat in the way back to Portland
Camp 18 has superb food, a great staff, casual-rustic ambiance, a really neat Gift Shop and Logging Museum. It is located between Portland & Seaside in Elsie on Highway 26 at Milepost 18. For anyone travelling to or from the Coast, this place is a definite must see.
Sunday Brunch is a MUST!! The regular menu is a little pricey, but the sunday brunch is the best! It is only served during the summer months so it is great on a sunday ride home! Leave Seaside in the morning, 10ish and stop for brunch. Great setting, nice and woody feel. Very relaxing!
good food and a slice of history right on the side of 26, this restaurant/ logging museum is worth a visit. stop in for a hearty meal served by the always pleasant staff and wander around outside to look at old-time logging equipment or just walk along the creek.
Worth a Stop A combination restaurant and old-time logging museum, this is well worth the time to pull over. Their menu is heavy with meats, and their meatloaf was excellent. The table near me had a round of steaks, and they smelled fabulous.
Feels so woodsy! This place rocks in atmosphere!!! They've got animals mounted on the walls and carvings all overt the place. The meal portions are huge and you couldn't finish the whole plateful if you tried. It's a bit on the pricey side but worth at least one trip there in a lifetime.
This place is awesome!!! This is such a neat place filled with historical logging artifacts both inside and out the dining experience is fun! Friendly waitstaff and great food you won't be leaving hungry!!! Prices are reasonable and food is great. They make a HUGE burger that is like 8" around and high enough that you need to take several bites to get through one layer but it sure tastes great!!
A Must Stop for the Beach going Crowd This local fixture is a must-stop if you're coming or going to the coast via Hwy. 26. The restaurant and gift shop are made from huge logs and give it the rustic atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest. They make a good hamburger and fixin's. Also, visit the gift shop and check out the trail and river behind the restaurant.
It's a classic! – Camp 18 is, without a doubt, a true Oregon classic. It's situated on Hwy 26, and is a must for anyone traveling to or from the coast. A rustic setting, great food, and lots of character make it a definite favorite!
