He is so good with children and teens! Listen to your concerns, and is very funny!

He's always been my kids' pediatrician. He is so good with the kiddos and always listens and responds to my concerns, makes sure we are offered next steps etc. I drive out of my way to keep seeing him.

Dr. Palacio has been my daughters doctor since she was 2 years old (she's 16 now). He is always very attentive to her and addresses any issues that may come up. The office is very clean and the facility is new.
My son left the NICU at 2w old (had neonatal sepsis). Followed up Dr. Palacio weekly, peds ID, peds cardiologist. While he seemed nice here were the issues 1. He was never supportive of breastfeeding- his wt was low from being sick he went from 80% to 15% . It was never mentioned till Cardio mentioned it... 2. Weekly labs - CBC & CRP to be reported to ID if any abnormal. Hgb dropped from like 12 to 8. He assumed it was a lab error, failed to even mention it me or pedsID. Well, it wasn't an error. Every time I call w/ questions in regards to my 7 mo old heart baby, he tells me to go to Wesley ER. What is the point of being "on-call" if you are going to refer a baby with a weak immune system to go to the ER with tons of germs and sick people?!? I simply asked about diarrhea and C-diff...he says "go to Wesley ER or call Dr. Nichols Monday morning at 7am". Mind you, it's Sat night and Memorial day is Monday. No helpful tips, information, or insight on anything except rushing me off the phone
