Horrible doctors, zero social skills, naive, with egos so FRAGILE they are unable to think clearly and effectively treat patients. They went to school for so long they forgot the body and mind are connected. So brutal, no empathy for patients or their families. Complete incompetence to the point of negligence.
I recently was staying in CCC7 and let me tell you it’s the best unit / hospital program in Toronto. The nurses were beyond nice, understanding and safe to talk too. The PAs, we’re funny, supportive and anyways came to work with a good attitude which was very helpful for us. Some of the doctors were helpful and supportive but others were not really fit to work on the unit in my opinion. The social workers, we’re all very nice, supportive and sweet. NEVER GIVE CAMH CAMPAIGNERS YOUR PHONE NUMBER This review is not a knock on the staff who work at CAMH and do extremely noble work and service to the community, but the corporate arm that runs the extremely aggressive fundraising campaigns. They will call you incessantly trying to get you onto a monthly payment program. NEVER give them your phone number especially to one of the public campaign workers at malls, once they have your number they will hound you with calls worse than our country's major cellular service providers... read more
I took someone to Camh emergency. I told them of all the unsafe violent and dangerous things that she's doing. Not taking her medications and acting out. They refuse to give her help and turned her away saying she doesn't needs meds even though the patient is telling them she does. Not sure why the staff was there looks like to chit chat then had security come to talk to us to leave. This is a waste of tax payers money a waste of time. CAMH sucks! I am possibly suffering from Postpartum Depression, and I don't feel comfortable talking to my family doctor about it because he doesn't take mental health seriously. So I reached out to CAMH Urgent Care by booking an appointment online, and when it was time to join the meeting, the WebEx app told me to download the newest version of WebEx in order to join the meeting.
