Been here since I moved to nearyby suburbs 3 years ago. I go here 3 times a year for pink slip and 2 servicing and everytime anyone I met here are professional, approachable and they friendly. I do not understand the mechanical or technical sides but I go here because of customer friendliness. And yeah...never had issues post servicing so I guess that is definitely a good thing.
Steve and the team are fantastic. We were looking for a local mechanic after moving into the area and we were recommended to try out Camex. Our older car needed a major service and some repairs. Steve was very thorough, even exploring options that would have saved us a bit of money. We will be taking our cars to Camex from now on. Thanks so much Camex!
I had a vehicle being transported from Victoria into NSW as part of an interstate purchase. I needed a blue slip. As I wasn't familiar with the area in which the depot was, I rang around to see where it would be most convenient to get a blue slip. The gentlemen at Camex were not only helpful in assisting what to do thereafter in order to get my vehicle registered and on the road but they made sure the procedure was as swift and hassle free that one could hope for. Avoid this place. They will rip you off if they can. Was told I would need to replace 2 rear wheel bearings and was told each would cost $550 but they would only charge me $500 for each plus $400 for labor. Took it to another shop and they told me each wheel bearing was only worth $60 and after pulling the wheels off told me only one needed to be replaced. I payed $400 in the end instead of the crazy $1400 this place quoted me and my Van has been running fine with no issues for months.
Thankyou to the team @ Camex Autocare in Campbelltown. We had a towbar fitted to our car, it was fully explained before they fitted Fantastic service, great price, friendly staff. The attention to detail & customer service was outstanding Would 100% recommend
