The rooms seem to have a cockroach problem. One of the main reasons I moved into Cameron South Park was because of the pool. The pool has been closed all summer so far having missing Labor Day and Fourth of July. Which is a huge letdown.
Alphonso is always helpful and in a good mood. He’s a great part of the team. I’ve been here 2 years now. The property is nice and quiet. My only complaint is that they don’t maintain the pools in a timely fashion. Both pools are still aren’t open and it’s the 4th of July now. Very disappointed and hot. This happened last year too.
I’ve lived in this community for a total of 9 years, and overall it has been a great place to call home. Olivia, Taneka, and Kim have all been wonderful and very helpful. We experienced a few issues during the recent maintenance turnover, but they were addressed quickly this past week, including the pool areas. Lamont and Quez also do a great job communicating about work orders and keeping residents informed throughout the process. Their responsiveness and professionalism are appreciated. I wanted to write a review because the maintenance team has been so great this past week! Communication, timing, etc. has all been wonderful. I noticed that the trash areas in particular have been well maintained since new maintenance management came. Overall I really like it here. I appreciate how nice the landscaping is and how private it feels. You also can’t beat being next to the YMCA. The layout of the apartments are great. I lived at Cameron for about 3 years and overall I’ve had a really good experience. It is an older property, which I always kept in mind, but it’s been comfortable and worked well for me during my time here. Lately there have been quite a few changes, but honestly they’ve been for the better. I’ve noticed improvements, especially with maintenance—everything I’ve submitted has been taken care of, including a few requests that had been sitting for a while from the year before.
