Marie was unorganized, unfocused, and unprofessional. She was passive aggressive to both me and my husband, but especially to me. We really wanted to use our insurance, so we attended three session, one couples and one individual session for each of us. Miles is absolutely amazing with my boys. He’s given them tools to cope with frustration and me great insight into how to best approach them as a parent when they are having BIG FEELINGS. As a parent, I’m so glad that I decided to have Miles work with my boys as they are now thriving with a better sense of self and confidence.
WARNING - Read their reviews! I was simply trying to explain that if there was no availability I wouldn’t want to go through the entire process of submitting all of my daughter’s information. Receptionist was extremely rude demanded I send over everything before so much as speaking to me, she then very aggressively hung up on me. This is a counseling service? I have been a client of Cameron Park Counseling for many years. I have worked with several of the therapists over there, over the years. My son has also been a client, and my Fiancé is a client as well. I have gotten so much out of my sessions with Marie and recently, Gaye too. I honestly would not be who I am, and where I am today, if it wasn't for Marie and her staff. I was in crisis and called and spoke to Jen and was she was able to find me an appointment with Marie the same day. When I came in I was treated with dignity and compassion. Meeting with Marie she immediately made me feel safe and heard. We talked and I felt much better. I have been now seeing Marie for over a year. Now I'm treated as part of the family. I love CPCC and the people that work there. They have helped me more then I could ever explain. Highly recommend. 💚💚💚
