If I could give them zero stars I would. I’ve been a patient since it was Cameron medical group when I actually got to see a doctor. For the past several years, I’ve seen somebody different every time I come in It seems to be a revolving door. I was once traveling and needed medication and I swear I had to call several times for the nurse practitioner to get back to me to call in the medication. During my visit, I always receive sound advice and professionalism with NP Kanisha Louis Jean. She listens, cares and generously supports the patient with a wealth of knowledge. Most importantly, it’s refreshing not to feel rushed while in the exam room. Making an appointment is effortless, as the folks at the front desk are efficient and organized. I highly recommend this facility.
I went in with the wrong appointment booked for my needs, the staff was super helpful and thankfully were able to fit me in that same day with the correct appointment. Staff was super professional and respected my privacy and did their best to get me care.
A few things annoy me with this practice. First, I find the front desk staff very rude. Long waits for them to pick up the phone, then their tone is very short and irritable, like they do not want to talk to you. I asked if I would have a fasting cholesterol test as part of my annual exam, and she snapped at me and turned it around on me if I wanted the test. My experience with this practice is that the staff seem serious at work and are usually polite on the phone. Sometimes they forget to return a call. PA’s and doctors I’ve seen have always been great. Very short waiting time usually. The first time I had a super bad experience was when I was administered the wrong shot. The practice always seems to have their billing and insurance on point more than some other jobs in general
