Dr. Eilts is extremely adept in applying his surgical expertise as well as explaining the process & post surgical details in an easily understood manner. My initial follow up along with X-rays indicate that my recent surgery was successful and that healing is taking place as expected without incident. Thus far I’m confident that electing to have Dr. Eilts perform this surgery was a very good decision.
Not enough words to describe the great experience with Dr Eilts. First visit he explained in great detail my MRI on my ruptured Brevis Tendon. Then he explained what the surgery process will be. He gave me 100% confidence that I chose the best surgeon for me. I’m very athletic and success on this surgery for me was huge! It’s been 10 weeks since surgery and I’m getting stronger through the rehab process. I’ll be highly recommending him
I scheduled my ankle surgery with Dr. Eilts after finding out I needed internal fixation and was looking for a surgeon who specialized in ankle fractures. I had a consultation with Dr. Eilts before the surgery and he was very thorough explaining the procedure and what to expect during recovery. He also assured me that this was a "very common" break which was nice to hear since I had never broken a bone before. He also answers questions by text VERY FAST!
Dr. Eilts was referred by Dr. Stephen Brennan's office in York for my 13 year old athletic daughter with some foot, ankle, and knee discomfort. He has a nice personality, is quite funny and was a pleasure to work with. His recommendations were a conservative approach, which I appreciate. My daughter had a good experience and we would recommend him to our family and friends.
Dr. Eilts is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and professional yet personable. I have seen many podiatrists over the years for a problematic foot, and Dr. Eilts is the one DPM who truly understands my issues and concerns. The conservative treatments recommended by Dr. Eilts have been extremely helpful. He performed one surgery on me last year with excellent results, enabling me to be as active as I want: hiking, running, working out. I recommend Dr. Eilts to anyone who has foot pain.
Dr. Eilts is an awesome doctor. He did major surgery on me on 2015 and will be preforming another next week. He is a very smart doctor and can take some warming up to but he has a sense of humor and always made me feel at ease. He can spot when I am belittling the amount of pain I am in and is not quick to rush into surgery if there are other options.
Dr. Eilts may be a great doctor, I don't know either way, but his bedside manner is atrocious. He was condescending, cold and very unconcerned with the amount of pain I was experiencing. After seeing him, I went to Dr. Sartori and she made me feel so much better! She had the same recommendation as Dr. Eilts, surgery, however she made me feel comfortable and supported. I scheduled my surgery with her and will be completing the procedure with her later in May.
