This is the most horrifically managed apartment complex in all of Richmond. They do not respond to phone calls, emails, or maintenance requests. I was able to have a polite conversation with the manager of the building once in a year lease. Then, when my situation was not resolved, she was perpetually “in a meeting” when I would stop by to sort things out. Repairs usually take months to fix stuff. My AC was down for a month before they "fixed it". Not even a month it stopped working again, and after a month of nothing has been done! No Temp AC, nothing! No notes that it has been at, nothing. I call to get an ETA but staff does not answer the phone or return calls. 15 out of 15 times they have not answered the phone or returned my call. Add on top of everything, hidden "utility costs" that add a extra $500ish, and it is not worth it.
Where to even start! Sil was outstandingly amazing and knowledgeable! Very through and show a lot of options.
It has been 3 weeks now without AC. They refuse to send anyone despite multiple visits to the office to let them know my apartment is 80 degrees. Do not rent here. The management is an inept and uncaring as ever.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Living at River Lofts on Tobacco Row has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am appalled at the level of negligence, incompetence, and outright disrespect from both the management and maintenance teams. We returned home from a weekend trip to find our closet carpet and all of our clothing soaked.
