I’m extremely disappointed with how my orthopedic appointment was handled. My appointment was confirmed, my insurance was verified, and I even received a call confirming the visit—only to have it cancelled 30 minutes before my scheduled time. I was told the reason was that Dr. Killian only sees patients over 40, which raises the question: why was my appointment scheduled, verified, and confirmed in the first place? As a fellow orthopedic surgeon, I trusted and sent my aunt to Dr Killen for a knee replacement. Absolutely incredible experience all around. From the receptionist to the medical assistants, his PA and all of the hospital staff—just a first class experience all around. Incredibly well done surgery. Exceptional overall experience. I am 51 years old and have needed a hip replacement for over a decade. I finally pulled the trigger and I am so glad I did. Dr. Killen is brilliant, kind, professional, and his entire staff is dedicated to the patient’s well-being and recovery. The surgery itself was scary, but I have to say I felt better the day after surgery then I have for 10 years.
