Monica was amazing! She was empathetic and worked with me to get what was best for my children and myself. She was always prompt in responses and has even answered occasional questions for me even though my case is complete. She is extremely well versed in family law and was well worth what I paid her. She was more cost effective than the other lawyers I had contacted about retaining. I highly recommend her and refer my friends to her.
Getting a divorce was never in my plans but it happened and I am so glad that I found Monica to represent me. The divorce was uncontested and it went smooth, so I didn’t think I would need her again but years later I did. Monica does have remote office, but she was always reachable by phone or e-mail, which I was fine with me. She was fair with my retainer and I never felt like she overcharged me. Getting a divorce is expensive, regardless of who your lawyer is. She was logical with me in a time when emotions are high, kept me grounded and never gave me false promises. My experience working with Monica was great. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. She guided me through a very difficult time in my life with professionalism and care. She always took the time to answer all of my questions to be sure I understood everything. I truly appreciate her work and highly recommend her!
Left us in worse shape than we started in thousands and thousands of dollars later: did not file things that she said she would, did not even seem to care or try.
