Friendly staff, but sadly like JB Hifi next door Camera House seems to be speed running the demise of Australian brick and mortar. The value and selection for the floorspace is horrible. Feels like being in a movieset store the way so little is done with so much space. Need a replacement giottos duster? go online. Want to browse and try a Sigma or Voightlaender lens? order online. I've been in modern camera shops half the size in regional Europe and USA that had 5 times the variety in lenses, bodies and accessories.
Although I did not visit this store in person, they were able to ship an item to me very quickly. I was after a specific adapter and they were one of the only stores in Australia that had stock in hand. Each interaction I had via phone and email was delightful and helpful. Excellent service and definitely went above and beyond to ensure I was received it as quickly as possible, they even shipped it same day (I purchased it via direct debit at around 3pm). I've been waiting 20 days for any details about the lens I purchased on your website. Yesterday I requested a refund and have not received a response. If you do not have the lens in stock and are unsure when it will arrive, it should not be available for sale on your website.
I came in today to get some photos done. I had awesome customer service from Julian. Well done, she is a credit to the business.
