I took a pair of binoculars in to be repaired for my dad and even though it took a while, they did inform me appropriately on the lead time. Binocs are practically good as new.
My favorite camera shop! Everyone there is always helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve taken so many cameras there for repair and so many rolls of film developed. Stop by. You won’t regret it!
I hold on to film until I come to York specifically to get it developed here. The pricing for the quality of the scans is unbeatable, and they do a brilliant job scanning and developing. Other places I get my film developed, I end up having to rescan myself, but I never have to do that when I get it done here. They got 5 rolls developed and scanned for me in a day one time.
My only regret is not visiting this place sooner! I stopped in to get a disposable camera developed, and the team was fantastic from the start. I believe her name was Cindy or Cathy (my apologies if I got that wrong!), and she was incredibly helpful—she let me know it would take a couple of days, and right on time, three days later my negatives and prints were ready for pickup. I have had the pleasure of getting to go in and experience this camera store. My wife and I dropped off photos to be developed and they came out amazing. It was a quick easy process and very affordable. We also purchased the olympus om2, a konica autoreflex tc, canon sureshot and love these cameras. We truly enjoyed talking to the owner and hearing about all his knowledge over cameras. This place hosts a very friendly fun enviornment for anyone who is interested in the world cameras vintage and new. -Local Guide Tim
