Totally racist place, refused to sell me camera even showing my passport , and I.D. . The owner son who said he was owner refused to sell the camera even with prove of identity .

I am so thankful to have a well stocked brick and mortar camera shop in my city. They are always able to answer my questions, they keep in touch with me and let me know about available discounts when they know I’m looking to add new equipment and even help with minor fixes when they can. Camera Bar is the best.
Great first experience here! Stopped in to buy a new lens and was greeted right away with information and a great deal. I’m glad to have a great local camera shop to visit now!

They have top notch, personalized and friendly service, they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and their prices are exactly the same as online stores. They even sent my camera into Nikon for me when it was broken and handled everything for me. I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful store and I hope everyone will consider buying here over buying online.
RecommendedWe're so lucky that one of the few surviving retail stores in Downtown Hartford is the Camera Bar. The staff seems to know everything there is to know about whatever product you're interested in, and always give you the same attention whether you're buying a whole new camera or just a lens cap - or if you just want to ask a question. RecommendedI am redoing my recommendation for Camera Bar. I originally posted that they have knowledgeable staff and great service. That’s an understatement! I was sitting on a comfy couch with my cat when I decided to leave a message with a question on their Facebook page.
