My family and I stopped in Telluride for a night to explore the town during a SW Colorado road trip recently. Highly recommend this hotel for the value and location as a home base to explore Telluride and nearby Mountain Village via the gondola adjacent to the hotel. Included breakfast was great. Miller was especially helpful in helping us secure on-street parking for our oversized vehicle. Will definitely return next time we're in Telluride area!
On our 11 night adventure in Colorado, I’d unfortunately say this was last. It’s far from terrible, but at the price point they charge; I’d expect a little more. I get that it’s Telluride and every place to stay isn’t moderate much less cheap. I will say that had I been there to ski in the winter time, the convenience would’ve certainly added to the benefit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Note. This is not a "luxury" hotel, but it's location is PERFECT, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and shower pressure was awesome. Don't let the unassuming exterior photos put you off. It's a great place to stay! Loved the complimentary breakfast where the salmon and bagels was a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to parking our Land Cruiser w/ roof rack that wouldn't fit in the garage. I have stayed at Telluride’s camel garden Inn now four times and each time has been better than the last Shout out to Miller at the front desk he is fabulous. Next, I find that people in Telluride are low-key and chill, but his customer service goes above and beyond. My favorite hotel in telluride! Walkable to downtown and right at the base of the gondola. Rooms are amazing and parking is first come first serve in the garage!
