Perfect hometown restaurant. Went for breakfast and everything was excellent. The hostess/waitress/prep-cook (yes one person) is like wonder woman. Get a cinnamon roll.
Walked in Saturday morning to get breakfast. They were very busy and we stood at the door waiting to be seated. The waitress Donna did not greet us or seat us. She just told us "there is a seat over there". We went sat down. She came to our table did not even acknowledge us, a hello, good morning, nothing . She asked what we wanted to drink. Food was awful! Water was disgusting. Waitress Donna had no personality, very rude. I noticed both the cook & the waitress licking their fingers after touching someones food. Very gross place & the Health Dept needs notified.
Cute little diner, food is cheap and good, waitress was polite and friendly. Update 5/26: stopped in to get breakfast, food was good as usual but the prices did not make sense at all when we paid. 17.50 for a 3.99 meal with a chocolate milk and a 8.50 meal. Asked to do a break down of the receipt and broke down the meal prices and tax but said an another charge that didn’t make sense and she seemed to have rushed going over it. We believe we were charged more than what the menu prices are.
I’ve been here twice. The first time was a pretty pleasant experience, but the second visit made us decide we won’t be coming back. The food was decent and reasonably priced, but unfortunately the service was not good. We weren’t greeted at all when we walked in. Eventually, an elderly lady cleaned off a booth for us and was very pleasant to talk to, which we appreciated. However, our server was not very friendly.
