Mikyla was very professional she came to see me at the last nursing home I was at to let me know that I was coming there. Any time I had a question she was quick to give me the right answers. She explained so that I could understand it. My experience with Canfield Healthcare Center was very good. The nursing staff and aides were professional offering a ear if I wanted or needed someone to talk to. The physical therapy team helped me out a lot. Staff who humiliate patients and refuse to practice empathy and compassion in their care of patients. Borderline abusive treatment of a patient because of an accident bc pt did not ask for bed pan before having accident. Get another job if you don't want to clean up after residents because THAT IS THE JOB
This is the worst nursing home I have ever seen. I worked many years as an STNA, I have never seen this kind of poor care ever in my life. I just lost a family member due to the lack of care at this facility. My family member ended up with Sepsis, and was taking to the hospital (at the family's request). After being admitted to ICU, they performed a skin assessment. My family member had roughly 14 beds sores. These bed sores were everywhere on her body. Very nice and clean place and wonderful hospitality. The rooms are well kept and it smells fairly nice! Ms. Robin kept us in the know as well. We really appreciate Marsha and the food smells phenomenal and tastes awesome according to the residents! From the Youngstown Community Center.
