I made the mistake of moving in without reading any prior reviews just based on the location, apparently well maintained complex, ample parking, and amenities. I learned quickly thereafter that CAMDEN charges on top of the rent, mandatory monthly trash service of about $30, entertainment package of about $100, and about another $30 for reserved parking that was added on after signing the lease. With the recent restrictions imposed on our city, we are obligated to close our pool and outdoor spaces. This decision did not come lightly, but we must do our part to support the efforts of social distancing in our city. Camden Old Creek was such a wonderful place to live. The community is very quite, staff always throws community events, and very well maintained. I’m happy I had the opportunity to live here, I had relocated from a Camden in Texas. Honestly Camden communities are such a wonderful place to live. I am happy to work for Camden as well. Don’t be fooled by the area when considering living at Camden San Marcos. I would categorize this place as an upscale “trailer park.” It’s a challenge to even throw trash away because of trash on the steps leading up to the bins. If you do decide to live here, make sure there are no dogs living above you, unless you don’t mind the constant thumping lasting for hours. I just want to say thank you to the staff at Old Creek, you guys are awesome! You made my move across the country easier and my new apartment is great. I really love living here and hope to be here for a long time.
