My 89 year old father was taken to their emergency room at 5:00am on a Monday morning and was not given a room for 2 1/2 days. He was diagnosed as having pneumonia, fluid on his lungs and they found a large mass On one of his lungs. The room that they put him in in the emergency room was right across from the doors that are used by the arriving ambulances, in which the door were opened more than they were closed. Racist staff. You are the company you keep........there is NO place for racism.
This hospital certainly does provide life changing care, except that change is detrimental. I wouldn’t bring a reptile here for care, much less a family member or loved one. The majority of the staff, nurses, doctors, and surgeons are rude, unprofessional, and simply not qualified to hold people’s lives and wellbeing’s in their hands. Instead of aiding the patient that needed trauma help, they caused more damage; so now my loved on will not have a fully functioning arm/hand. This hospital is the absolute worse. My father got taken to this hospital by the ambulance and was shown to the waiting room not into the ER. My father felt so bad that he had to lay on the floor until he was finally seen and then later told that there was nothing wrong and was discharged. My dad is the type of person who waits until the very last sec to ask for help. This hospital and the staff are disgusting and disrespectful to have anyone laying on the floor in pain. RecommendedI got admitted to Charleston General June 7th, 2020. I got discharged on 6/10/2020 and I want to say that I was very well taken care of on 3 south. I was in a very bad situation and they still made me feel comfortable and every time I have paged the nurses for something I need, I would get it within minutes. They were also very nice to me because of this COVID-19 and not being able to have visitors. I just want to make sure 3 south gets this good praise.
Do not park at this facility! I parked there for 1:22 with posted signs saying $1 for first hour then $1 for each additional hour or a total of $4 for all day. parking ticket validation confirmed 1:22 which should have cost $2. automatic machine charged $4 which is double what it should have been. machine then said debit payment with bank was declined twice. used second bamk.card and payment released gate. checking both banks online was charged a total of $8 through two banks when should have been charged only $2
was on 4th floor nuero only had problems with a NA everyone else was great. was there a week
