This emergency department experience was extremely disappointing. The wait times are completely unacceptable patients are left waiting for over 12 hours with little to no communication. Nurses repeatedly say they don’t know when a doctor will be available, which only adds to the frustration and anxiety. People come to the emergency room because they need urgent care, yet many are left suffering while waiting endlessly. The wait time in the emergency department is absolutely ridiculous. The hospital is clearly understaffed. The management team should reach out to the manager at Etobicoke General for some tips: As a patient, waiting up to 10 hrs to see a doctor is absurd.
