One word...BEDBUGS! Talk about a horrible way to start off college. Moved in right before school started and ended up with bedbugs throughout the entire apartment. Family helped move in and some of them even walked away with bites (including a baby). It was only then that it got even worse! Tried to approach management nicely about the bedbug issue, but was ignored for SEVERAL WEEKS. There is no one actually on site to take care of any issues, let alone bedbug extermination.
