In 2018, Bellwether Housing completed a major renovation of The Cambridge Apartments. All 157 apartments have brand new carpet, cabinets, windows, and energy efficient appliances. Several apartments were converted to be accessible to people who use wheelchairs or have other physical disabilities. The project made seismic and life safety upgrades, restored the lobby and radio room, and brought the building up to modern sustainability standards. The renovation won the ABC Eagle of Excellence Award.

As for the management nice people trying to help. The building is plagued with drugs, crime, violence! Known by many previously as " Roach Motel" They were there from day I moved in till day I left!
