Saw one of the lawyers for a paid consult, where I was given a clear plan of action and at the end she offered to take my case on contingency pending her partner’s approval. I paid them $552 for their time, but as soon as the word “contingency” was on the table, the tone changed. There was one very unprofessional follow up call where I was promised several things, but that never happened. They ghosted me.
Didn't take my situation seriously and declined to counsel.
