I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. van Laeken is incredible and so was everyone else. Specifically, the nursing staff I had (Sheila and Joanne for the most part) were very caring, helped me with everything and extremely kind as well as professional. This is the best experience I’ve ever had with nursing staff. I also had Hailey as my nurse for a short period and she was lovely to. If I ever need surgery again, I will definitely be coming here :)
The CAMBIE SURGERY centre is by far one of the most beautiful, clean, and attentive places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome, friendly faces, amazing bedside mannerisms, and everyone was on the same page! (all the t’s were crossed, and I’s dotted). Everyone was well prepared and extremely compassionate. I have had many surgeries in my life, and this experience by far exceeded any expectations of mine and was genuinely a memorable moment. The Cambie surgery center is the place to be. First class Professional from the beginning to end, the Doctors and nurses, anesthesiologists, post op nurses, everyone friendly and accommodating. It was everything I hoped it would be and more . Thumbs up to Doctor Anthony Costa.
Don't waste your time with Pat who doesn't have the courage to operate so you'll be jumping through hoops for over half a year for nothing and wasting medical resources because the surgeon will find a way to cancel your surgery with help from his office clown who doesn't know how to coordinate his clown office. If you visited this surgeon at his Work Safe BC office then I would suggest opening a complaint file with the Ministry of Labour and WCAT and then Google: WSBC Lawyers
