We have used Calypso for more years than I can count. We have boarded many dogs from Labs to our current Pug. We have never had an issue. We have had family emergencies that required last minute reservations and they have always accommodated us. They are always happy to see our little Pug. Would highly recommend them!
Over the Christmas holiday I boarded by 9.5 year old Shepherd and almost 2 year old Lab mix at Calypso Kennels. Neither dog had ever been in a boarding kennel situation and I was particularly worried about Macy, my shepherd. Both dogs came home from Calypso looking happy and healthy and absolutely fine after being boarded there. I would not hesitate to use Calypso again for any and all boarding needs. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and overall it was a wonderful experience for me, Macy, and Kipp.
I did a lot of searching when we needed a kennel to board our two dogs last minute and Calypso fit the bill. I've since had my dogs boarded there a few times and every time they take great care of my "family" and they come home happy, healthy and having a great time. The staff are very personable and the facilities top notch. I would highly recommend them for your boarding needs...whether planning for a future trip or a last minute need.
The Calypso staff are great. I've boarded my dogs there for over 20 years and they always come home happy and healthy. I now live further away than I did when I first boarded my dogs but I am more than willing to make the drive. The staff obviously care for pets as if they were their own. They are always willing to let my two board together (the little guy would freak if separated from his big sis). Thanks all for your caring support to Simba, our cat, who unfortunately passed way after a short 4 and 1/2 year life from illness. Since, we initially brought her to you all for boarding, you all were so caring and supportive to Simba. From making her at ease and comfortable while , her parents were out of town, or an appointment to have her nails done, she was so at peace when she went to her cat spa.
