The management never says the same thing twice. If you like lies and being told to move 5 days before Christmas then this is the place for you!! Maintance is horrible!!!! Brittany Moore, leasing agent for the complex, is an idoit!!! If you have small children dont live HERE!!!!!
My husband & I moved into Calypso Bay Apartments in September 2006, we loved it. The people was nice and WE did not have any problems in 2006. In December 2006 we met a guy looking for anwers. Someone broke into his apartment the week of Christmas, stole everything while they were out of town. They didnt even have a bed to sleep on. Ask the complex for surveillence and there were none. Started leasing at Calypso Bay because of friends and came to find out Dana, the district manager and Miss Mindy think they walk on egg shells. Have treated us like trash ever since we moved. Rented us the most expensive apartment claiming they didnt have a one or two bedroom apartment available. I have lived at Calypso Bay for about a year and a half now. THEY KEEP GOING UP ON THE RENT. Its driving me insane. Its already very expensive. It is a beautiful complex. The work out room and pool are beautiful as well. There is supposed to be 24 hour security, but where are they when my neighbor has all of his loud friends in their loud cars over?

The management at Calypso Bay is awful. Yes, it looks nice, and the staff will be as sweet as can be until they have your name on the signature line. The security is ALL for show: Ive talked to people whose items were stolen, cars were hit, etc. and were all told the security cameras were not on or not working. The guard does not do anything but sit in a room with his door closed and the iron "security" gate is broken every other day amost.
