I’ve stayed here several times and had no complaints. This past weekend my husband and I had a king suite. The carpet was absolutely disgusting, stained, and bowed up in places. The bathroom was spotless and we were excited about the larger shower with two shower heads and jets. The shower head and jet combo on one wall did not work at all. The single head with hose had decent pressure but no hot water until the end of the shower. The bed was comfortable with clean white bedding.
What a cute hotel! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was super friendly! The breakfast was the kicker though! The lady who refilled the breakfast items and cleaned the tables was on top of everything. This was a great change of pace from the chain hotels, and it is within easy walking distance from their cute little downtown area.
Nice Historic Hotel. Interesting history with it. Rooms seemed very clean. Free breakfast in downstairs common area was good. Limited interaction with staff, but they all seemed pleasant and friendly. Absolutely no complaints. First time visiting the Calvert Hotel as well as Lewistown. Would stay again!
It was a pretty pleasant stay. The only problem I had was they gave us the wrong room. We were promised another room and when we got there they gave us a different room. They left a note for the manager to call us, but we have not received a call and he was not there to talk to us in the morning. I don't know if this is a regular occurrence, maybe it's just a one-off, but it did leave a little sour taste in the mouth. Location was good. The hotel itself is older but very well taken care of.
Never stayed before. Historical dormitory that was updated 8 years ago. Rooms are very quaint and modern. Breakfast was very good and easily walked to downtown. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.
