Given a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer over the phone after being told the week before cancer had been ruled out Then told a referral to the oncologist would be done that day. Then told after calling several times it would be 7 weeks to see someone.
20/12/2021 I am writing to express my anger and disappointment in the Calvary Mater Hospital Newcastle’s response to the management of COVID-19 spread with the use of mandatory rapid antigen testing for outpatients of this hospitals. The use of rapid antigen testing in this manner is invasive and unreliable. I am receiving radiation treatment for breast cancer diagnosed in July 2021 and I am unable to receive treatment unless I have a rapid antigen test daily Monday to Friday for several weeks.
