Mental health assessed my daughter after multiple suicide threats and a police search... 2 hours later, they said she was fine to go home. Set her to me (fine), but not even a phone callto i form me. Nothing. I hope anyone who is struggling doesn't come here. No empathy, no care. Absolutely abhorrent. An absolute disgrace, and a real threat to the safety of anyone seeking help.

On 24th Feb 2025 my son was taken by ambulance and left alone in ED. Was there 2hours when I arrived. After 4 hours he fled in distraught I could not bring my concerns to anyone. I asked for the manager. I told them "he's gone now"and there concerns were appalling. I was told to ring the police. On there arrival the manager took the officer out of my earshot to tell him my son had nothing wrong. I can see some positive reviews here so I keep an open mind about being biased. It's been a about nearly two years since my admittance to the mater. Still very traumatized by my stay there. I would have to say hospitals are good for acute conditions like breaking a leg and treating certain mental health conditions. From my experience there I felt like I was treated more like a prisoner as if I had done something wrong and to be punished.
