Worst place to work for. Owner does not care about employees and does not care about your well being. Even with this place being permanently closed, it's still the worse place to work for. You can find a better job honestly. Ironically, this place is all about screw machine parts and literally screws you out of a job.

Permanently closed. The new owner packed everything up and moved it out of state. We were a long-time (30+ years) Calumet customer, but the new owner decided that he only wanted to sell to big companies that buy more than $200,000/year of parts. We tried to work with them, but the new owner has decided that he doesn't need any of the smaller customers that made Calumet successful. I worked at Calumet Screw Machine Products for 3 years and I must say it's a great company to work for. They have great health insurance, lots of overtime (40+ hours a week), education reimbursement, opportunity to grow, annual reviews and they're willing to train. I started as a temporary employee and ended up as a permanent hire. Also, you need to show up on time, produce QUALITY work and meet the production expectations.
