Quite clean site overall, mostly family-oriented living. Buildings are a bit older but in good condition. Management is caring and helpful

If I could give zero stars, I would. After more than 5 years of living at Kelson Group Apartments on 170 St, this past year has been the most disappointing by far. Even before and after the smoking ban, smoke and marijuana odours have consistently seeped into our unit—especially into our main bedroom. The issue is most noticeable every afternoon and evening, and is even worse on weekends or when management is not around. I had a very disappointing experience with the Kelson Group Apartments on 170 St. Before I moved out, I spent almost 9 hours cleaning my unit thoroughly. I even rented a vacuum cleaner and sent the receipt to Marjorie as proof. Marjorie did not walk through my unit with me before I left, even though I was waiting. Later, she told me the unit was not cleaned properly and still charged me $320, which I feel is unfair since she never inspected the place with me present.Another reason I moved out was because I complained about m... read more
I really can smell the marijuana inside our unit, Specifically in our main bedroom. Everyday in the afternoon and evening especially weekends. We cannot open our sliding doors to have a fresh air come inside our unit because our neighbour smoking weeds. I have children living with me. They should take care of this. As a landlord, you have a legal and ethical responsibility to provide a safe and habitable environment, free from health hazards.
