Always a great experience at Calle Ocho, from the food, drinks and ambiance
I love their boozy brunch. Their sangria does not mess around. I do think they need to invest in more stemwear. It's weird to serve half the party at your table with their 20 oz glasses and the other a standard 8 oz glass. It makes people feel ripped off. As for the service, it is always spectacular. The food is delicious. I had the Maiz y Camerones and my husband had the Vaca Frita (both were amazing)! Everyone in my party of 9 enjoyed their meal. Came to Calle Ocho with my husband for our 6th Anniversary and had a great time. Ambiance was just what we hoped for and the food was delicious! We had the calamari for appetizer, my husband ordered the paella with lobster shrimp calamari octopus and oysters and I enjoyed skirt steak with chimichurri over a pork fried rice and topped with a fried egg. Would definitely visit this hidden gem again!
The food was excellent. The wait staff could have been a little nicer.
