I bought a pre purchase inspection for a 2008 Porsche Cayman I was looking to buy. It cost $950. The thorough report came with a few red flags that seemed like easy enough maintenance jobs, so I went ahead and bought the car the next weekend. The very next day after purchasing the car, I got a check engine light for cylinder 5 misfire.
