RecommendedI've seen a few negative comments floating around regarding the new ownership. I attended BGSU from 2002-2006 and loved eating here. My mom's side of the family is from Detroit and I try to swing by whenever I'm passing through. Yesterday I ordered the same sandwiches I always have, and they were exactly what I've come to expect. Great food. One of a kind menu selection. New owner is absolute amazing, funny, and creative!
Good food and good service.
As regulars, my wife and I bring our little son there almost once a week and normally get good food. Yesterday, we came to celebrate his fourth birthday at his request (yes, he knows the name of your place). We ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with apple slices; a tuna melt with potato salad; and a veggie burger of some kind. For the 3rd time in a row I did not receive the advertised corn muffin with my Sedona salad. I let it pass the first time but called the 2nd time and they brought one out. I mentioned this was the 2nd time. Well just ordered it again and guess what was left off! I'm done. I love the food but service has gone downhill with the new owners.

Only giving it a 3 because the food is soooo good. I’ve never had one bad meal here but the service we had today was awful. Two young girls working who couldn’t have cared any less about us or our meal. I am a server/bartender and wouldn’t have a job if I worked like these girls. They had no clue if they had a kids menu and then never greeted our table. To top it off our drinks never once got refilled or asked how our meal once. Delicious food. Ate there for the first time today. Will definitely eat here again. The sandwiches were delicious and the Lemony Snicket pie was amazing. Servers were awesome. Keep up the great work!

We went there today for my Birthday... the food was amazing. I had the chicken salad on cranberry bread...the shop was packed, there was one waitress, she had it together. Took orders. Served. Cleaned tables. Did phone orders. And cashed people out too... she rocked.. I pulled her aside and told her how good of a job she was doing..if it was me I’d of been so frustrated that I would of walked out.. George. Give her a raise. You need to keep her. I wish I asked her name. She is a pleasant person.
