Callbox just laid off half their company without more than a 3 hour notice to the workforce. We understand that the covid pandemic affects this industry, but there was no communication regarding a possibility of a layoff/ furlough leading up to the event. The exact opposite had actually been conveyed and leadership dishonestly convinced employees that they were financially stable enough to support salaries for up to two years.
