I contacted the office and a representative named Mark Lab replied immediately to my question and gave me detailed information about how the appeal system works. Mark was very responsive and knowledgeable about the subject matter and treated me in a very professional way, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately they are not very honest. I asked them what steps I needed to take with a cell phone ticket in San Diego. They told me they have a 2 part system in which we can submit by written declaration and if that is unsuccessful they can appear in person for you. We did not win by written declaration. When I asked about the next steps and fees for having a lawyer attend in person they stated they have decided not to appeal cell phone tickets in San Diego county. Very disappointed about this experience. I have never received a ticket my entire adult life. 13 years. My record is spotless and I have no criminal record of any kind. I was told, "I had a high possibility" of winning my case. I lost and I was somehow found guilty. Once I was found guilty they said I could pay an ADDITIONAL 250 dollars on top of the 350 I had already paid for them to represent me in court for a "Trail De Novo."
