California Tanning first opened its doors in 1989 in a small seven bed salon building in Carteret, NJ. A 30 minute 24 Lampe Wolff tanning bed was cutting edge technology for its time. Since then, we have continually upgraded our store design and equipment provides you, the customer, with the most technologically advanced product on the market. The cost was WAY too high for not that great of tanning beds... The bed I was in had bulbs burnt out and the facial lights flickered the entire time. Nice people working there, but I don't see myself returning to this salon
Bought a 3 spray tan package told I could use the 3 whenever I went back a year later (i was pregnant & couldn't get sprayed) I was told too bad they expire after a year...thieves! No way should a package you pay for expire same with a gift card...and blond behind the counter was super rude...don't go there! no where does it say anything expires not on receipt, no signage, no nothing!

All of our staff are trained to explain to customers that packages have an expiration date of a year. I'm sorry if you misunderstood when you bought your package!
